Website and hosting
The public website is delivered through Cloudflare. Requests involve technically necessary connection data such as IP address, time, requested address, browser information and technical errors. This supports delivery, security and troubleshooting under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is a secure, available website. Cloudflare may process data across its international network, including in the United States. Cloudflare’s privacy notice and data processing terms describe recipients and transfer safeguards.
Media, read-aloud and preferences
The website stores your read-aloud and film preferences in local browser storage until you change them or clear site data. This serves your expressly chosen display preference (section 25(2)(2) TDDDG; Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). This website includes no advertising or analytics SDKs. Fonts and films are loaded from the website host. Read-aloud starts only after your choice. The website does not request microphone access. Read-aloud only uses voices that your browser reports as local. If a suitable system voice is unavailable, a message explains this.
Contact and retention
When you contact us, we process your contact details and message to handle your request: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for contractual or pre-contractual matters, otherwise Article 6(1)(f) GDPR for communication. Contact records are deleted once no longer needed to resolve the matter and possible follow-up, subject to statutory retention duties. Technical data is retained under the hosting service’s deletion rules; security or legal matters may require longer retention. You can delete stored website preferences yourself.
